Commercial HVAC Installer
Job Description
We are seeking experienced Commercial HVAC Installers to join our team for new commercial construction projects. Candidates should have a strong background in handling flex and duct board and be ready to contribute effectively within a crew. This role requires working at heights and sometimes in confined spaces, emphasizing safety and teamwork on site.
Responsibilities
- Install HVAC systems using flex ducting and sheet metal on commercial construction
- Work collaboratively with mechanics and helpers to complete projects efficiently
- Follow all safety protocols, including OSHA 10 standards, when installing HVAC components
- Use and maintain basic hand and power tools necessary for HVAC installation
- Adapt to working conditions at heights and within confined spaces
- Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors to ensure project quality
- Maintain personal and team adherence to project timelines and safety regulations
Job Requirements
Required Qualifications
- Verifiable experience in commercial HVAC installation, specifically with flex and duct board
- Possession of all basic hand tools and required personal protective equipment (PPE)
- OSHA 10 certification or willingness to obtain certification (company-paid)
- Reliable transportation to travel to project sites
- Ability to work at heights and in confined spaces as needed
- Successful completion of drug test and background check
Preferred Qualifications
- Minimum two years of experience in the HVAC trade, including as a helper or mechanic
- Proven ability to work productively within a team environment
