Electrician
Job Description
Tradeco Construction is hiring 1-2 experienced Electricians for projects throughout the Chicagoland area and surrounding suburbs.
Qualifications & Responsibilities
- Experience in commercial and manufacturing/industrial environments
- Skilled at bending and installing EMT, MC, and rigid conduit
- Perform electrical installations, upgrades, panel terminations, and equipment hookups
- Troubleshoot and repair electrical systems, motors, controls, and related equipment
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and electrical drawings
- Install lighting systems, fixtures, outlets, and retrofit components
- Ensure all work complies with applicable electrical and building codes
- Able to work independently and deliver quality workmanship.
- Maintain a safe, productive work pace and dependable attendance
Job Requirements
- Install wiring, electrical panels, lighting systems, outlets, controls, and equipment while performing troubleshooting and repairs as needed.
- Review blueprints, schematics, diagrams, and specifications to properly install systems according to project requirements and codes.
- Use testing equipment to diagnose electrical issues, verify system performance, and ensure proper operation.
- Work with contractors, supervisors, engineers, and other trades to complete installations efficiently and avoid conflicts.
- Safely operate tools and equipment, manage materials, document work performed, and maintain accurate service records.
