Sprinkler Fitter / Installer
Location: Tampa Bay Area, FL
Job Type: Full-Time | Temp-to-Perm
Pay: Competitive, based on experience
We are currently hiring experienced Sprinkler Fitters / Fire Sprinkler Installers for commercial projects in the Tampa Bay area. This is a great opportunity for a skilled tradesperson looking for steady work with the potential to go permanent.
Responsibilities
- Install, assemble, and service commercial fire sprinkler systems
- Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications
- Install pipe, fittings, valves, hangers, and sprinkler heads
- Measure, cut, thread, groove, and assemble sprinkler pipe
- Assist with system testing and troubleshooting
- Follow all jobsite safety requirements and OSHA standards
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
Job Requirements
Requirements
- Previous experience as a Fire Sprinkler Fitter or Installer
- Experience with commercial sprinkler systems preferred
- Ability to read blueprints and understand sprinkler layouts
- Familiarity with hand and power tools
- Ability to work from lifts, ladders, and elevated platforms
- Reliable transportation and dependable attendance
- Must be able to pass a background check and drug screening
Preferred Experience
- NFPA/fire sprinkler system knowledge
- Commercial construction experience
- Pipe threading and grooving
- Hydraulic testing and system installation
- Experience working with sprinkler contractors
