We are looking for an experienced Millwright/Maintenace Tech/Machine Mechanic in West Unity OH. This position is about 50/50 between travel and home.
This work includes erecting structural steel, installing decking, multiple kinds of welding, installation of specialized equipment, field-building custom, and other millwright/welding tasks. It could involve welding metal components together with brazing and variety of arc and gas welding equipment to fabricate or repair products such as conveyors, structures, crushers, production equipment.
Description:
Install and maintain machinery/equipment using hoists, lift trucks, hand tools, and power tools.
Read blueprints and schematic drawings.
Assemble and install equipment, such as shafting, machines, and tram rails.
Align machines and equipment.
Capable of welding proficiently.
Repairs broken or cracked parts, fills holes, and increases size of metal parts.
Performs repairs and preventative maintenance on Field vehicles and equipment as directed by the Plant or Field Maintenance Supervisors.
Requirements:
Must have complete set of standard millwright/welding hand tools, safety boots, safety glasses, and hard hat.
Must have a strong work ethic and be dependable, unprofessionalism will not be tolerated.
Be able to work independently and assist others, when needed.
Knowledge and compliance with OSHA's safe work practices
Required experience: 2-5 years
$24-$28 HRLY
