Pipefitter
Job Description
The Pipefitter is responsible for installing, assembling, and maintaining piping systems in various industrial settings. This role requires expertise in welding, cutting, and fitting carbon steel and stainless steel pipes, ensuring accuracy and adherence to safety standards. The Pipefitter will work closely with blueprints and technical diagrams to execute precise installations while maintaining compliance with safety regulations.
Responsibilities
- Install and assemble piping systems using carbon steel and stainless steel pipe
- Perform skilled welding and cutting of pipes
- Interpret blueprints and technical drawings for accurate pipe installation
- Ensure all work complies with safety regulations and standards
- Inspect pipe joints and connections for quality and integrity
Job Requirements
- Proficient in blueprint reading
- Strong mechanical aptitude
- Knowledge of safety compliance practices
